    Now there is still a white stripe over top of slider,
    slider is AGAIN NOT LOADING,
    optin is gone of course
    and there is a new white gap between photo rows that shouldn’t be there.

    “MAINTENANCE” plugin
    We have an email broadcast going out today at 2pm EST.
    Getting so many emails and complaints.
    If the site is still wonky, we’ll have to put up a customizeable “maintenance/under construction” page, and take the site offline until we have a site that works.
    This temporary page will need to include contact info and a personal message.
    Which plugin do you recommend?

    Great, now I see no JS errors and the slider is working.

    Yes, slider is working, but what can be done to fix the home page layout?
    is it reasonable to think this can be fixed in the next 90 minutes?

    We have not changed the page itself, have you made any recent edits to it apart from the form removal?

    Sorry, David – I just tried adding text on the home page – less than a minute ago.
    We need SOME kind of message to our visitors that has something of us that they can recognize.
    Better to leave the broken page up with text that explains we’re in process, than a blank site lock landing page.

    Can you just arrange text someplace at a size people can see?

    WEll, the text is landing in the white space that shouldn’t be there.
    So please instruct me how/where to place the text… thanks
