URGENT ISSUE! – maintenance mode

I have a issue where my home page http://shop.garsons.co.uk shows first time then reload and it show maintainence mode.

Every other page on my website works fine.

This means when people click the logo to go back to home page they see. We are in maintainence mode please check back again soon.

Maintainence mode is switched off.

Please help

Hi Greg,

This looks to have been a caching issue with a plugin you’ve used, likely the pages were cached while the maintenance mode was enabled.

I’ve just cleared your cache and it seems to be resolved.

thanks for looking into it however the problem is still occurring.

When you are on my website. http://shop.garsons.co.uk hit the logo in the header so that I goes back to home, it then goes back into maintenance mode.

This really need sorting guys… matter of urgency now other I will have to take our site down.

I think it could be issue permalinks.

I have tried and tested a few things.

I have duplicated my home page with a new page but with a /home/ permalink and it works, I can reload that page as many time as I like I and I don’t receive the ‘maintenance message’. However when that page is assigned as the static home page it then fails, and on click of the logo or page reload the website goes into ‘maintenance mode’.

I could change the logo link to http://shop.garsons.co.uk/home/ but this is not what I want and it was working fine. I want my landing page to still be http://shop.garsons.co.uk.

For now I am using the duplicated home page with the /home/ permalink in the navigation bar to hopefully help with the users navigation.

But the logo link is still not working, so desktop and mobile users with be experiencing this issue when they click this.
