Hi there was wondering whether you could help, i seem to be getting this message every time i want to upload a photo:

Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Can you please help?

Hi,

It seems to be file permissions. Check if the uploads directory is writable or not. Also check with your hosting support.

If you use a software like Filezilla, you can right-click with the mouse on files/directories to see their permissions or even change them.

Hi

I do use filezilla and have managed to locate the content and have checked my permissions and all are set at what i believe to be the correct value in 755 so i am not sure on how to move forward? I do apologise if i am missing something obvious but it is normally my colleague who deals with these matters.
