    I just purchased a licence to 2 web fonts from fontshop.com

    I have uploaded them in the custom font area and they are showing up in the back end but not rendering on the page.

    I tried adding the code provided by fontshop to a header.php in the child theme but that did not work either.

    I had previously uploaded a webfont and it worked without issues. Wondering if I have done something wrong here?

    Hi

    If it’s a webfont then I imagine you will need to load it through a script, that’s probably why it’s not showing up. Did you add to the header.php file before the closing </head> tag?

    Hey Kyle, yes I did put that code in the header.php (in the child theme) above the closing tag.

    The font files are: .eot .woff2 .woff and .ttf – which one(s) should I upload?

    The last web font I tried, I just uploaded in the theme options font area and it worked without any issue.

    Hi,

    Simply add .eot .woff2 .woff and .ttf to a zip folder and upload the Theme Options => Font Options.

    No need to add any code to your site via a child theme for this.

    Team – I’ve uploaded custom fonts and they’re not displaying for me in two different contexts. I selected Avenir Next Regular to be the custom font used for H1 thru H6. See: http://bit.ly/2jzRdHe Also, the font isn’t appearing when I assign that font via the theme’s custom css area, for example:

    .text-intro
    {
        font-size: 36px !important;
        line-height: 125% !important;
        font-weight: normal;
        font-family: "Avenir Next Regular";
    }

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
    -Paul

    David – I deleted the custom fonts and attempted to re-add them. I’m encountering errors with this process and I have a separate forum post for this. Thanks again for the assist.
