I’ve tested this on 2 different installs and on staging.
Uplift doesn’t display the product background image.

Thanks for the heads up, fixed this for the next update. FYI – only the inner background image would be visible, as there is no boxed mode currently in Uplift. We left the normal background option in incase anyone customised it to have outside spacing.
