    I purchased the Cardinal theme a mere 10 days ago and before getting around to installing it, your new Atelier theme was launched which is much better suited to my needs.

    I’d be thrilled if there were some way to get a discount on an “upgrade” from Cardinal to Atelier.

    I sent an email to your support with this request a couple days ago but have yet to receive a response.

    Apologies, but we are unable to offer upgrade discounts. We ran a promotion like this previously, and Envato shut it down for apparently “being unfair to other sellers”.

    We’d love to, but for now it’s impossible for us to do so. Sorry about that.

    Thanks. That makes sense. At least I know my purchase of Atelier will be supporting the development of a first class product, so I’ll go ahead with the purchase.
