    Whether the update template Cardinal from 1.95 to 2.x is safe? I want to update the template and WordPress to the latest version.

    Hi

    Yes, but you will need to install the Swift Framework plugin as soon as you update the theme, you can do this by going to Appearance > Install Plugins

    Have you made any changes to the cardinal parent theme files?

    Thank you for your reply. Do I understand correctly that I need to download the files from themeforest, install the module and then update automatically?

    Hey onenex,

    Before making updates to the theme, I need to know whether you have made any modifications to the theme files?

    Are you using a child theme?

    Not made any changes to the template files. I do not use a child theme.

    Then you can go for it. Make sure you backup your theme option settings first if in case anything goes wrong you can just import the backup.
