Update not displayed in dashboard

Hi,

Now my current version of the theme is 1.8.2 (that shown in theme dashboard). But the theme’s update notification is not displayed in the update dashboard.

Please help how to fix it.

Hi Swift Ideas Support,

I also am NOT seeing the updates in the WordPress dashboard for your theme (but I used to). I am only getting emails from Envato to say that the theme has been updated.

Also can you advise whether custom css is kept during theme updates of Atelier or do I need to re-add them after the update?

Yu can do that, or you can replace the files using FTP

Hi,

Why the updating process of the Atelier Theme is not as user-friendly as other default theme of WordPress (Twenty Fifteen)?
I just click “Update Button” of Twenty Fifteen, that’s all I do.

The issue is WP Updates is down, this is no fault of ours. You can either wait for it to come back online or download from ThemeForest

i have the same issue in my sites: not getting update notifications just for swiftideas theme/plugins

all other wp.org stuff & plugins are getting notifications & updates

1. can i use envato kit?
2. r u using http://wp-updates.com ? (it is down…)
3. is there a good resolution to this?

Hi Tasos,

Until recently we were using wp-updates, we have now switched to a reliable provider for auto updates. If you still have an older version, it’s possible you will not get update notices as their service is down.

If update the theme and plugin manually by downloading the latest zip files from your ThemeForest account this should sort the issue going forward.

oh, this is important, have u informed all theme clients about it?

And is there a way to use envato kit or sthing else to avoid manual update in every site?

Hi,

Only a very, very small number of users have encountered this. They just use their FTP to upload the theme files to their server.
