I believe adding TypeKit to the head area, is just like importing a Google font. This means it loads it, but you still need to apply it where you want it used.
Since the theme is not tested with / has any options for TypeKit, you would then need to override the default theme styles with custom CSS that applies the TypeKit font. For this, you can use your browser’s Inspection Tool, to check what CSS needs overriding.
Also, make sure you don’t have Google Fonts set in the theme options – set them all to standard, as it’ll be easier to override + you won’t be loading useless files.
