I have a somewhat unique problem and would love to get your advice.
I’ve been using Flexform to build out the main framework of my site. However, since I plan to have a ton of photos available for sale and stock purchases, it was important for my photo archive to be run by another piece of software. The folks who provide that software have helped incorporate it into the Flexform design I created, but now I’m having an issue with shopping carts.
While their software is ideal for photo sales/licensing, it’s not great for product (calendar, book, etc.) sales. I was hoping there may be a way to use the Flexform “store/shopping” system for product sales, while keeping image sales licensing confined to the other software… but ultimately it would be nice if both systems pointed to the same shopping cart.
As an example, you can see a sample photo page here.
A sample product page is here.
Again, for a variety of reasons, I’d prefer that the products be sold through the more-customizable Flexform shopping system, but I still want to tie the ultimate shopping cart/check-out process together so there aren’t two completely different carts running. Is this possible, and if so what is your recommendation on how to proceed?
Thanks!
