trouble adding social profiles

Hi

can’t seem to add social profiles to my site.

In header, I have enabled top bar and then done this:

Top bar social icon config

[social size=’small’ style=’dark’ type=’twitter, linkedin’]

Where do I enter my twitter and linkedin information though?

Do I have to use a Twitter widget?

Do I need to do a Twitter application?

Please advise.

Please go to Admin -> Theme Options -> Social Options -> Here you can put your social profile URLs

Mohammad, thanks so much. I had gotten that far, but for some reason the social icons are not displaying anywhere. Do I have the option to add them to header or footer or sidebar? I must be missing something basic…

Mohammed, is there a way to add a social profile that is not a built-in option on your site? We would like to add an icon for TripAdvisor and need some guidance to proceed.

Please open to edit shortcodes.php file

Find this code:-
$output = ‘<ul class=”social-icons ‘.$size.’ ‘.$style.'”>’.”\n”;

Change with:-
$social_icons .= ‘<li class=”tripadvisor”>‘.”\n”;
$output = ‘<ul class=”social-icons ‘.$size.’ ‘.$style.'”>’.”\n”;
