I am trying to get the top-bar to be have a transparent background as I need the oversized logos to show I would just remove the top-but need it to create a utility navigation on the other side of the header. Everything I am trying is getting overwritten by the theme dynamic styling.

Hi

You need to add !important on the end to stop the colour customizer settings overwriting your css.
