    Hi,
    I followed the knowledgebase instructions for creating a translation. I don’t need a new language, I just needed to change some of the text. Unfortunately, none of my translations are appearing.

    Here are the steps I followed:

    1. I started with the theme language file : en_US.po.
    2. I made translation changes and saved the file (generating a new .mo file in the process.)
    3. I ftped those two files to the theme language file on my server.
    4. I edited my wp-config.php file by adding this: define (‘WPLANG’, ‘en_US’);
    5. I cleared my browser cache and the changes aren’t displaying.

    I’m not using any caching plugins.
    Do you have any recommendations for how to troubleshoot my issue?

    Thanks for your help!

    I tried using the plugin: Codestyling Localization, and it worked perfectly for me. I’m closing this request as I have a working solution and no longer need help with Poedit.

    Thanks.
