    Hello,

    I have done all the translation work with loco translate for 3 times now. Every time it’s switched back to English (or crappy Dutch;).

    I believe this happens when updating my Atelier theme.

    Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

    Hi,

    Yes, the translations should be moved to the child theme.Create a directory called language inside the child theme directory.

    We send a child theme inside the files downloaded from Themeforest, that you should upload and activate.

    Inside the functions.php you should have this line of code.

     load_child_theme_textdomain( 'swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory() . '/language' );

    Hi,

    it’s normal when you activate another theme/child theme. You need to assign the menu locations in the child theme and also set the front page in Settings-> Reading

    You will only have to do it once.
