    Hi,

I’ve changed some words from Dante language .po file, especially the ones for shop. For example I’ve put Book now instead of Add to shopping bag. I’ve replaced the files en_GB.po and .mo inside Themes/Dante/Language but nothing is changing on the live website.

Just as a note until a few weeks ago everything was OK. I don’t know exactly when it stopped working.

    Any tips please?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
Have you uploaded PO and MO both files at wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages and wp-content/languages/woocommerce ?

    Thanks

    Hi Costin,

Ahh, I think the woocommerce string file is likely referring to a different line because our changes. I’ve just fixed the theme/language files – http://d.pr/f/GN9J/4mhMZlKM

    Site is looking great!

    Thanks,

    Hello Ed,

    Thanks for compliments.

Could you please tell me what exactly should I do now to fix it? I’ve already translated the woocommerce file you’ve sent with the theme a few days ago. Should I update all theme files?

    Thank you,
    Costin

I would recommend updating all yes, as we’ve made a few changes/additions.

Update your en_GB.po catalog too, from the en_US.po file.

Can you let me know which strings/theme locations that you are missing, or a few – and I’ll check locally.

    Thanks,

    – Ed

    Hi Costin,

Checked here and working fine using WPML to change language to GB – https://www.dropbox.com/s/ipw31shxoe176l0/Screenshot%202014-07-18%2020.00.28.png

If you’re using it in the default language only, then just update the en_US.po file?

    Hi Ed,

Thank you for the time taken to test on your side but unfortunately I don’t understand what exactly you mean…
    What I’ve done:
    – I have this in wp-config define(‘WPLANG’, ‘en_GB’);
    – my Woo Commerce files have this name woocommerce-en_GB.po/mo
    – My Dante files have this name en_GB.mo/po
    – the same for WordPress files
Live I’ve said before I’ve changed/translated some words in all those file (from En to En) but nothing happens on the live website.

What is to be done please?

    Thanks,
    Costin
