Opened thread before but here we go again: I need to translate my website: http://www.easypsim.com into several languages. I read up on wpml, opened accounts for a translator but it seems that the revolution slider doesn’t appear in the translation window. My wish: I want to send the easiest possible document to the translator, he does the translation in one go and finito ;). Is there any other tool that handles translating pages easier than wpml? maybe qtranslate with meta tags? – can I connect other translating tools with Dante or is it restricted to wpml?

Yes I know to translate the template I need to do it with .po files etc – I’m talking about the pages.

    hope that explains my problem
    thanks for your answers

    Hi,

You need to turn on the WPML option in the Revolution slider settings. Then search again for translation strings using a plugin called ‘codestyling localization’ .

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

So I installed the codestyling localization and activated arabic but the strings of my slides don’t appear in the plugin. I only want them to be translated – not the plugin itself

Also: the links all don’t work when in a different langauge. Can that be changed?

e.g. when I’m in german and click on a link it switches back to english because that’s the default…

    heeeelp :-/

    please advise on this:
1.when switched to a different language clicking on a link causes the site to switch to the default language (using wpml)… how can I correct this?

2.where can I translate the frontend strings of rev slider?

sorry for the desperate push here

    Hi @david1,

As far as I’m aware, it would require a duplicate slider for each language, and then you can choose the slider for the language of the page you have created. You’d then be able to set the correct strings/links in the slider for each language.

    Hope that helps.
