Translatiing the theme

Hi,

There seems to be some functions that can not be translated threw the language files that excist in the folder /httpdocs/wp-content/themes/neighborhood/language

How can I for example translate the shopping carts “view shopping bag” and “proceed to checkout”?

Hi there,

Those are definitely in the PO file. View shopping bag text is line 2392: Proceed to checkout text is line 1743.

When I try to translate them using poedit, they do not change. Everything else changes as they should.

Hi,

I noticed that in the button the text is spelled “Proceed to Checkout” and in the language file “Proceed to checkout”. In the later the “checkout” is spelled with a lower case letter c and in the button with a capital C. Does this effect somehow? Also can´t find the “apply” button text in the .po file that is used for entering the promotional code.

You can change the “proceed to checkout” code in the .po file if you want.
“apply” is indeed not in the .po file. Where do you find the apply on the website which is not included?

Hi,

It is at the right corner in green “apply coupon code”. Another thing that doesw not get translated is in the left upper conrner “Your Selection (x items)”. Everything else seems to be working.

“Your Selection” is definitely translateable. Please rescan your files to make sure it’s included.

“Apply Coupon” is part of the woocommerce translation and is also ready for translation from within the php files.

Are you on the latest version of the theme?
You can check the files cart.php and form-coupon.php if you want to manually translate the strings.

Hi guys,
I found a few as well.

1st attachment: I have translated the string “Showing all %d products” but it is still in English.

2nd attachment: The string “0 items in the shopping bag” works fine but if there are 2 or more products in the shopping bag it says “(Number of items) items in the shopping bag”. Clarification: It works fine as long as there are 0 or 1 items in the shopping bag but if more it shows in English.

• Probable bug: When trying to delete products from the cart in the header I get an error message saying “Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.” This only happens sometimes and I couldn’t figure out during which specific conditions it happens.

3rd attachment: Couldn’t find a string for this one.

One last question, is there any way to update the language files without having to translate every single string all over again? I have updated the language files 3 times now and I have been translating from scratch every time. Any easier way to do this? 🙂

I am running WooCommerce Version 2.0.14 and Neighborhood Version 1.3.1

Fixed the first and second with the attached update.

The confirm password string is part of the WooCommerce translation.
