Hello,

There are any tutorial to translate to Flexform template to another language ? im using WPML ! But i want to translate the Theme not the content ! any one can help me ?

Hello masta,

you have to download a little programme called poedit. Then you open the en_US-File located in the language-folder and start translating. I did that for German, but most parts of the Theme remains in English :(.

Hey,

The theme is fully translatable and any content that is not user generated is ready for translation.

Using 3rd party tools to translate a theme is beyond the scope of theme support, but generally:

– use POEdit to translate the .pot file and generate the .mo file
– add the .mo file (with cc_LL naming format – ex. es_ES.mo) in the languages/ folder of the theme
– add/change this to/in wp-config.php :

define ('WPLANG', 'es_ES');

Hi,

I translated the theme in German, but now I’ve got a serious problem with “umlauts” like ä, ö or ü.

For example at the bottom of this page:

In addition the “Leave a reply”-button isn’t working any longer (see same page). Do you have any idea why this happens?

OK, got it. I had to switch to UTF-8 in Poedit
