HI, I currently track my site’s analytics with Google tracking code in my Theme Options. But if I want to track specific conversions, I was told to add code to specific pages.

If I create a ThankYou page to direct users after they fill out a form, How can I track that specific page to report to Adwords/Analytics? I have the code, where do I put it?

(I know you’re supposed to put this code in the Header section of the .php file, but I don’t want this to erase when I update my theme. The Theme Options is nice bc I know its a child theme, but I just don’t know how to specify tracking for a single page).

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Inside the pages if you use the Swift Page Builder you can use the Raw html and Raw Js assets. If you use the classic editor just add your desired script.

But for what you want I think you don’t have to do anything. Google analytics will track how many visits landed on the thank you page and you can also check the percentage of visits that abandon the page before the “thank you” page.
