3. No it happens all the time…. if I plug in is loaded it works fine and shares images from the page content BUT it overrides the themes Pinterest icon which looks terrible!

– also if you click here http://www.onelinestudio.co.uk/?portfolio=oneline-fair-trade and then click on the Pinterest share button top right you’ll see what I mean.

can you see where it’s saying it’s loading in the image from

Why is this how do I get it to load in the images so people can Pin content from the actual page….

Weird that all the other social share buttons work fine just not Pinterest…

Hi David,

OK so

1. I removed robot chicken image
2. I clicked on your link http://www.onelinestudio.co.uk/web/wp-admin/index.php?action=delcachepage&path=%2Fweb%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D12003%26action%3Dedit&_wpnonce=154d831849 – I assume this removed the cache?
3. Retried and if you go to any page on the portfolio item and click Pinterest button then NOTHING shows as the image to pin. This is weird as ALL portfolio pages have a featured image so it’s not even picking that up…

Hey,

I have resolved this, these were my steps:

1) Meta Options => Detail Media
2) Switch from Standard Slider to Image, this revealed an image that had been deleted but it’s name still existed in the custom field data which caused an error. I removed the reference.
3) Switch back from Image to Standard Slider, checked pinterest link and it now displays your correct image.

Which page / link have you done this too as I can’t see it working when I try. can you send me the link / screenshot.

I assume therefore I’ll have to go through this process for each of the portfolio items?

I’ll do this once I can see what you mean by the link / ss
