After doing the update, after three times reverting back to 2.85 after problems with 3.02 and 3.03, I had to change some things in custom css to get the colors right again but I got it working…almost.
All of the page titels and pages are responsive, also the single product pages are fine, except the shop category pages.
These page titles are not responsive anymore. (tested on three different smartphones)I also noticed that the super search, when inserted to a page, isn’t full width anymore. In 2.85 it was, but now not anymore.
Do you have a css fix perhaps until this is sorted at the next update?
Thanks
(p.s.: keep link private, thanks)August 9, 2015 at 12:15 pm #202134In addition; also the “related products” section, isn’t responsive as well. Also the swipe functionality is gone. It is however clickable again, this was not the case in 3.02 and 3.03.
August 10, 2015 at 12:29 pm #202365Hi,
Have you cleared the cache on the mobile device?
1) I have tested the site sections you mention and all behave correctly. Do you have any specific URL’s that I can test that you see errors on?
2) What is the super search page url?
3) The swipe functionality you mention, is that for the “Related Products” or Swift Slider?

1) I am really struggling to replicate this, could you supply any screenshots?
2) Yes I see that issue, can you privately add a WP login for me?
3) What version do you currently run? I have reported this back to the team for further investigation. Will report back

1)
This looks to be related to the language, when this translates to English the issue does not happen.
Can you try this, it will break the word to fit the area:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) .page-heading h1 { word-wrap: break-word!important; } }
2) Can you check the “search” element page builder asset is with a “Row” and the row is set to full width? If not please copy and zip upload the page contents and I will try and replicate it.
3) Do you have a specific product URL for this? I only see “Others also viewed”. We can test it better this way.

1) That is a solution that will help you until an update is released amending your issue.
2) The Super Search would need to be in it’s own Row, that row will then need to be set to full width. Right now you have everything in one Row only.
3) I confirm this also, I have reported this back to the lead developer for investigation and fix.
It would be ideal if you could create us an admin login, even for a limited time period so we can better help you. Short of that, a zip file with you page (Schermafbeeldin) shortcodes would also be of help.

With 3.0 we moved to a better structure for full width assets, some things have changed a little and we apologise for issues during the transition, but it is definitely for the best.
1) What happened with 2.85? I don’t see any other possibility for this fitting without the word breaking?
2) The theme is definitely not “buggy” as of the latest update. Sure, there were a few issues here and there as to be expected with a major release, but we have always been very quick to fix any issues. A large percentage of the issues were down to user customisations causing the issue.
3) We’ve replaced the carousel plugin with a much slicker one in the next update, the carousel will swipe with your finger movement, and responsively scales in a much cleaner manner.

August 12, 2015 at 6:52 pm #203401Hi Ed,
Sorry for the frase “buggy”…it’s just because i did now three updates and dito rollbacks you see? But if I would have known what exactly was changed and how certain things work differently now, then of course I would not have openend a ticket. And I have to say; you all give top support! And I mean that. So that’s why I am already for a while now your customer…. ๐
To answer your question; in 2.85 this did not happen. The single row of supersearch was full width.
Also the two category titles in question, where perfectly responsive as well.
The product carrousel of related products on mobile did work but they weren’t clickable. Now it is clickaBle but it has some issues which will be solved in your next update,as you say.
Thanks again…love your support…as allways ๐
August 13, 2015 at 12:32 am #203478Can you let us know what happened to the titles when on mobile in the previous version? I don’t see how that text can fit.
– Ed
August 13, 2015 at 7:14 am #203503To my believe these two titles were centered and readable. Not being cut off. So if I understand you correctly, the title is too long. So if this is the case I’ll probably have to split it into two words then.
August 13, 2015 at 12:23 pm #203636Hi,
They are centered and readable in English, for your language the long one wording causes the issue. Did you used to have this split as two words?
Thanks,
David. -
