    Hi, I’ve searched far and wide on The Tribe’s forums for a solution and cannot seem to figure this one out.

    After installing The Events Calendar, I seem to be losing the page title that appears on the top just like on every other page.

    It’s a cosmetic issue as the plugin works just fine but I would like a consistent look through the entire site. I was advised from the plugin’s creator to contact my theme support instead.

    I have included 3 screenshots. About Us, Meetings, and Events. You;ll notice that the page title displays just fine on the first 2 pages but does not appear on the Events page.

    I am not that proficient with wordpress and kind of just figure things out as I go. I normally find a solution and teach myself with the proper advice but this one is beyond me…

    Help?

    Hi,

    Will have to forward this one to the developer.
    Let’s wait for his reply.

    thanks.

    Thanks for the response. Since I am working with deadlines, is there any idea as to how long this process can take?

    It isn’t that big of a deal but an idea of time will help as I discuss this with the client.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    The page heading doesn’t show as it doesn’t report for the page itself – it shows the title of the first event, which obviously isn’t correct.

    Add this custom css to add some spacing at the top:

    #tribe-events {
    padding-top:40px;
    }

    Sorry for the dumb question. But where exactly do I out this css? I tried adding it to the style.css but to no avail…

    In the theme options in the General Options tab.

    Got it. I added the css. No change. I tried clearing the cache etc.

    I was reading on The Tribe’s support forum that others had this same issue with different themes but I never found a solution.

    I really love this plugin and it would be a shame to toss it.

    I wonder why it didn’t work?

    Spacing is showing here fine now? https://www.dropbox.com/s/rt91mfyave2dbsv/Screenshot%202014-08-25%2023.39.18.png?dl=0

    That is what the code was for.

    Understood. So is there no way to have the blue area with the page title, “Events” like it is through out the rest of the site then?

    Is this my only option?

    At the moment yes – there appears to be issue with the way the archive is output for the events plugin.
