The theme is not picking up translations. Everything has been configured according to the documentation. The correct translations are in place in the nl_NL.po files (default files from theme). Website language is set to Dutch. Yet, the blog section remains in English.
    Am I missing something?

    Hi,

Where did you placed the .mo files?
It’s advised to have it on the child theme and there is a commented function in the child theme that will help you load the translation files from the child theme to avoid losing it in a theme update.

I’ve also copied them to the child theme. In the ‘language’ folder. And uncomment the load_theme_textdomain function in functions.php

Can you provide me admin credentials to have a look at the code in the child theme?
    Use the private reply.

    Thanks

    Hi Peter,

Have you followed the steps listed here to complete the translation of the missing strings? http://www.swiftideas.com/knowledgebase/translating-the-theme-using-poedit/.

It seems your site is mostly translated, apart from a few odd text strings?

I’ve manged to find a few untranslated stings in the .po file and translate them. But most some strings, like ‘Next Article’ or ‘Previous Article’ are translated. But don’t show up in the website.

Have you uploaded both the new compiled .po & .mo files?

If you add your FTP details I can take a closer look for you.

    Hi,

You had to not re-compiled the .mo file also, always do this after changing the .po file. I have done this for you and translations now show: http://tekstueel-communicatie.nl/kom-jij-ons-team-versterken/
