Tables in Swift Page Builder

Hi guys and gals

I’m trying to integrate an easy way for my client to manage a simple table on one of their pages. I’ve made a table using shortcode but the client isn’t experienced with this at all so I doubt they’ll be able to work with the shortcode (at least not at first).

I found a plugin for WP Bakery’s Visual Composer which adds Excel-like features to page builder. I read somewhere on the forum that Swift Page Builder is based on Visual Composer? If this is correct, would this add on give Swift Page Builder the same abilities? If not, can I use WP Bakery’s Visual Composer instead of Swift Page Builder?

Hi Iain,

Yes you are correct! It is built on Visual Composer plugin, So you can’t technically remove it, and install the new Visual Composer, can you try this plugin? http://wordpress.org/plugins/tablepress/

I can flag this for the developer, maybe in the upcoming version he will add.

Thanks for your reply.

I deleted the Swift Page Builder from my theme /includes/page-builder and added Visual Composer as a plugin with the Easy Tables add on. Works perfectly!

If the upcoming version could integrate a table builder that would be great! The Visual Composer is nice but I prefer the feel of your Swift Page Builder (it’s much nicer!).

Glad it works perfectly, yes we add some functionality to change the look and feel, and also some extra elements. 🙂
