    Good evening,

    Tables inserted via the shortcode seem to have a massive amount of white space placed above them, such that they appear much lower on the page than intended – a full screen down, actually. Is this a known issues I can solve w/ CSS? If not, happy to provide a pwd/link.

    Seems like you have a lot of strange code in your text block above the table (see screenshot) that’s what’s causing the issue

    Nope; removing that code (which is from pasting text from MS Word) did nothing to fix the problem….

    Please update to wordpress version 3.9 and let me know if that fixes the issue

    Also try deactivating all of your plugins, it may be a plugin causing the issue
