    Hi iamlard,

    Please only edit the child theme functions.php. Doing this on a live site is not recommended always have a development site.

    Do you have a backup of your functions.php file? Please restore that.

    Please also post your error message.

    Hi again – I’ve used a backup of a functions.php file from my hosting so problem solved!

    Great, ask them to set you up with a clone of your site so you can do dev work on a non public site.
