    Hi,

In my flexform blog e.g. on http://ostseeflug.com/der-warnowtunnel-rundflug there is a syntax error, at least in the german version, as you can see on the attached image. First letter is a german umlaut “ร„”. What can I do to get rid of this error?

    best regards

    Andreas

    Hi,
Its not syntax error . Syntax error stop work to load page and show only error string . You did not translate website correctly. Please translate this string in UTF-8 encoding mode to avoid this issue .

    Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Mohammad,

Thanks for reply. I haven’t done any translation in the flexform theme. Where and what do i have to do exactly? As far as I know the translations were done by flexform with Version 1.4 (14th May 2013), weren’t they?

    regards

    Andreas

    Hi,
<p>I recommend downloading PO Edit, from http://www.poedit.net/. Once you have installed please follow the steps below and work UTF-8 encode mode in poedit :</p>

    1. Open the /flexfrom/languages/ folder and open the de-DE.po file and find this string and change. Do not delete or edit “Original string” part.
    2. When you finish translating, save the file. This will create an .mo file in the same directory.
    3. Upload the new files into the languages folder of the theme /wp-content/themes/flexfrom/languages/

Hope it will help you sure .
    Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks,

Even though the right “ร„” was set, I replaced with รƒโ€ž but that didn’t work. Then again I replaced with the old “ร„”, saved and now it works – strange!

    Thanks

    Andreas
