Swift Slider not loading on Chrome

Hi everyone!

I’m having the exact same problem. Works fine on Safari, FireFox, Opera, iPhone Safari… but not on Chrome… I’m also using CloudFlare and HTTPS.
It might be CloudFlare minification option but it’s strange that it’s only on Chrome.

I also noticed that if you reload the site a second time on Chrome it works fine the second time.

Any idea?

Are you using Cloudflare / HTTPS? Can you send a link to your site in a private reply?

For anyone using CloudFlare, try disabling their minification?

Hi Ed,

I disabled the CloudFlare minification but it’s the same problem on Chrome… I cleared my browser cache and it’s still the same. I’ll test again in a few hours after the CloudFlare cache is regenerated…

In the meantime could you try on Chrome and tell me if it loads on your end? It’s here : cookiesbymatt.com

I tried it and it’s not loading in Chrome but it’s loading in Firefox.

Loading fine on the second time suggests it’s an issue with the script loading. Do you have the rocket loader setting enabled on your cloudflare? We use CloudFlare with all our sites, and have never had this issue.

I have the rocket loader enabled.

I just disabled it and tried and it seems to be the same… I’ll leave it disabled for now so you can test. Let me know if it works on your end.

Hi Ed,

It works on my end too. I had to deactivate the CloudFlare minification and Rocket Loader. Will you have a fix for that?

Hi Matt,

Not sure there is anything we can do to fix that our end – it’s down to their minification. I’m pretty sure that feature of theirs is still in beta?

There is a parameter we can add to prevent it from running on that script. We’ll see if we can get that added for the next update.
