Dear support team,
I am very happy with the Atelier theme. Great theme! Also the Swift slider is really nice because it is completely simple to use, no option overkill. Good job! However I experience a bug: When setting the background image vertical alignment, it doesn’t affect the slide background. When I look into the source code of the website, there is an attribute data-bg-align=”center”. I guess if I set align to top, it should also be top, right? Anyway it doesn’t work. Can you please help me here?
Also I have two feature requests which would be really helpful to me and I guess many other users. And they would not bloat the sliders’ sleek feature design:
1. It would be very nice to be able to sort the slides. I would suggest to have a drag&drop reorder option like in the WooCommerce products section. Just now I am using a workaround for this – I realized that I can use the timestamp of the publication date to set the order.
2. It would be nice to not only have vertical background alignment but also horizontal. For example if I use an image with an object that is not in the center but shifted to the right or left it will not be visible when going to mobile portrait format. So this feature would really help for responsive usability. We realized something like this for our static HTML landing page: http://plumeriaswimwear.com/. As you can see you can resize your browser in any direction and the important parts of the background picture stay visible.
Thanks for your support!

May 4, 2015 at 12:06 pm #171525Thanks for letting us know about the background align issue – have fixed that for the next update.
1) Thanks, we usually recommend the Post Types Order plugin – but we’ll see if we can build something in for this.
2) Will add this to the list for an update in the near future.
Thanks,
– Ed

July 20, 2015 at 7:15 pm #196222Hi there, just chiming in this. I also would like to have the background images stays the same size as the browser resizes for a few pages. I have the background content disappearing than behind another image, which I really do not want. How can I do this?
Has the update been done already on the theme with the last update last week? If yes, how can I do the settings when I use a image as background in a ROW on a page.
I have added the css you have me already, but the resize is not 100% for the image, sadly. Would love to have that, please 🙂Ciao Anette
July 21, 2015 at 3:07 pm #196432Hi Anette
Could you please show us an example of this? The slider image is used as the background image of the slide, so given that it is set to cover the slide completely, making it 100% visible all the time just doesn’t work. I’ll check your site and see if there is anything we can advise though.

July 21, 2015 at 3:14 pm #196439Certainly, see below the screenshots.
First screenshot will be on a page, when the contact page opens, no white BG to be seen. The white BG is missing throughout the website.
The last 2 screenshots are the Front/Home page. When you scroll down the contact page does not follow. means when I click on the contact button when I am further down in the page, the contact drop down opens on top that page, but not where I am right now on the page.
If you understand what I mean! Thanks so much for your time

May I ask what Slide do you are referring too? Is it a swift slide? If so than I must have deleted it when I cleaned up the Demo pages I did not need!
Ciao Anette
