    Hi SwiftIdeas!

    I seem to be having a few problems with the Pinpoint theme and I’m not quite sure how to go about fixing them.

    1) When I install a plugin, I get the Whitescreen where my wordpress website doesn’t load. This happened a lot initially and happened recently when I tried to install the EventEspresso Lite plugin. I then have to manually go to the FTP and remove the plugin, but it’s quite cumbersome to continually do this for multiple plugins. Can you perhaps advise on why this is happening?

    2) Using the SwiftPage builder, I created a new page and tried to add a text block, but when I click edit, it hangs on “loading, please wait” and doesn’t actually let me add any text. No idea what’s going on here!

    Hi,

    1) Is this happening with any plugin, or just with EventEspresso?

    2) There’s a plugin conflict, most likely. Replied in private.

    In case others end up at this topic and want to know what to do, start off by disabling the CKEditor if you’re using it. It’s a very common editor replacement, but is incompatible with the theme builder.

    Most editor replacements/enhancers will not be compatible with the Page Builder, as they will manipulate the same data and will inevitably conflict.

    My suggestion would be to enabled WP_Debug if that happens, as it should show you an error message. My assumption would be that it’s memory related.

    Maybe send your host an email and ask them to check the logs/increase your php memory?

    Okay and why isn’t my Swift Page builder working? I click ‘edit’ on a text box and it just hangs on ‘loading.. please wait’. Is this also related to the lack of memory?

    Hi, can you please ask your hosting company to increase your memory limit and let us know if that solved the issue?
