    Hello,

    Everytime I try to use the Swift Page Builder the content dosent save. Content saves/updates properly in visual and text editor. But when I click “Swift Page Builder” ads a text column, ad text, and hit update. The information dissapears. Its a complete fresh install of WordPress and the latest Joyn. No plugins except the ones that comes with the theme are installed (except “All In One WP Security”, which i have inactivated and that didnt solve it). I have also tried to update the theme files with no success.

    Please advise!

    Hi,
    Please deactivate all plugins except theme’s required and check for issue. Let me know your feedback.

    As I said before:

    But I have deactivated all plugins except “Swift Framework” which didnt solve it.

    Please advise.

    No, it does not save it. I understand that you have more things to do then help in this support during the holidays, but PLEASE take a moment and read my original post, it would save me, you and my client alot of time.

    1) Go into the “About” page.
    2) Create a “Text block”
    3) Write somehting.
    4) Click Save then Update
    5) Wait for the page to load again (in backend section)
    6) No text is saved in the “Text block”

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    I can see a JS error in your WP editor, this is almost certainly caused by a 3rd party plugin – as I cannot replicate your issue on my dev version (same theme version).

    Please disable all plugins, and if possible leave them disabled and update the thread also so I can help you test.

    Okay, now all the plugins are inactivated. There are no 3rd party plugins installed, only plugins that came with the theme.

    Hi,

    Can you please contact your host and ask what version of PHP you are running?

    Please ask them to specifically use PHP 5.6 on your site.

    Hi,

    This was caused because an issue when running in Php7. We already made some corrections in the file shortcodes.php located in the plugins/swift-framework/includes/page-builder/inc/

    Since I had the ftp access I uploaded this fixed file and it’s working fine again.

    Clear the cache and give it a try.

    Well, I downgraded the php to 5.6 and now everything works as its should. But you can use 7.0 now that you have upgraded?
