swift page builder error in wordpress

Dear Support,

We are dealing with a problem that concerns the swift page builder. Quite a crucial element, as it currently limits us to make any editorial changes to the website.

The error: The swift page builder is present in wordpress admin, and I can see the different content boxes. However, if I make any changes and push on the button to save it, the changes are not saved. This means that we cannot change anything on our website.

Our IT guys have looked at it last week and seemed to have solved the problem. However, this only lasted for about two hours, because after that the problem magically returned.

We have been dealing with this problem for about 3 weeks now. Which has limited us in making any changes to our website. So you can imagine we are really in need for some help. So if you could help us as soon as possible, that would be great!

Are you using the same user that you provided us?

Hi,

That’s an issue cause by a plugin called Advanced Custom fields. Now it’s disabled and the homepage is now working fine.

Can you please delete the page I created “Homepage Testing”, just didn’t do it myself because the buttons are in a unknown language to me.

This is what I’m seeing in the homepage.

The advanced custom fields it is active now(in the plugins), but it wasn’t activated by me.

I’m also seeing fine the page I created.

Can you try in a different browser?

Hi,

I didn’t saw your last reply when hit the send button because I was analyzing that situation and opened the page before your reply.

Is it possible that we deactivate the plugin for an 15 minutes period?

Do you have any special configuration in the htaccess file of the webserver?
Also can you check the server logs to find any additional error message.
