Hi, I found some related topics but I guess the case of mine differs a little bit (did not find the same problem there).
I’ve used the latest DANTE Download (Today) and the actual WordPress Version for this, no really exotic plugins I guess but Https protocol for Backend protextion.

It seems to me, the Java Script is not running like intended.
It is not possible to insert shortcodes via the generator in the text editor. The drop down is not working and everything is shown at the same time. No reaction. Seems broken somehow.
I attached a fire bug console screenshot, taken while opening the editor, this might be helpful.

    Thanks and kind regards
    Dennis

PS: It is not possible to generate short codes at the moment, the shortcodes in the schrenshot background are copied and pasted vis the preset demo pages.

    Hi,

This seem to be related with your https and the settings in WordPress.

The settings below should use https so the content isn’t mixed with some resources in https and others in http(in firefox they don’t load)

Give it a try changing to https

    Guys,
probably after Dante v3 update I noticed what follows:

if I use a shortcode injection through do_shortcode('...'); and use \' to prevent accidental php block when coding apostrophe in sentence like l'aria > l\'aria it happens that Dante now show “l\’aria”.
It is not properly what should look.
Can you please check and let me know how to fix this?

    Hi,

Guess the content is already sanitized. Can you try placing the text normally without the \ ?

    Hi,

I tried to figure out but at the moment I have no answer.

Do you have any development server with a copy of this site so we can check with an older version?

Also did you installed any plugin recently or add new code in the child theme? If possible try to disable the major part of the plugins and try refresh the page.

    Hi Rui!
I’m taking this as the right occasion to ask you for a suggestion… Actually, I am running an ecommerce on a dedicated server, but I do not have a physical copy of it, besides backups.
    Should I keep one working?

Finally, I think it’s actually a potential injection of content via functions.php that affects the_content and that replicates product textfield content into woo product page.
But I find it very strange, though…

    Hi,

The trailing backslashes are actually within your content editor. Did you put them there?

It looks like one of your custom functions is not handling the content correctly, do you know the function name?

Can you please upload a zip of your child theme so I can test this.

    Thanks,
    David.
