    Hey There,

I haven’t logged into and used the Swift Framework Short Code button (within the page/posts editor) in awhile, but i just tried it, and this is the error message I get:

    403 Permission Denied

You do not have permission for this request /wp-content/themes/flexform/includes/sf_shortcodes/interface.php

    Any reason for this?

    How can we fix this?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi,

Check the permissions on that file to see if they are according to WordPress requirements.

Some documentation of how they should be.

    Hi Rui,

    Thanks for your reply.

Do I need the Swift Framework Plugin installed for it to work?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi,

Currently I see your server is actually blocking the shortcode builder from loading:

Can you report that screenshot 403 error to your host so they can allow the file to load?

    Hi David,

I spoke with our host, Bluehost, and they said the following:

“The permissions on public_html/wp-content/themes/flexform/includes/sf_shortcodes/interface.php look good. We aren’t blocking access to that file at all as that picture states”

“you will have to contact the vendor and get more specific information. The permissions on the file are good, and our server isn’t blocking it in mod_security”

“The most information I have is that’ it’s clear through the server. just that The permissions on the file are good, and our server isn’t blocking it in mod_security”

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi,

It should now be working. You had a rogue htaccess file in the /wp-content/ folder. I have renamed it to .htaccess.bk just in case for your reference.
