    I have styled links/linked text on the site to a red, but my Search icon is now also read (and the hover state blue) and in both cases this disappears on the blue background of my main navigation. How can I style both the link and hover state of the search icon only as white?

    Please use this custom css code:-

    #main-nav .header-right ul.menu > li > a.header-search-link{
color:#fff !important;
}

#main-nav .header-right ul.menu > li > a.header-search-link:hover{
color:#fff !important;
}
