Hello,
This is my web site built with Dante: http://www.giudicesound.com
I am experiencing a strange behavior browsing from one page to a “# link” in another page.
For example: if I am in the Home page and I click “Upload” in the main menu, and then, in the Upload page, I click on “Contattami” (which is a “# link” inside the home page), it works, but after 2 seconds visualizing the “Contattami” section, the content moves about 200px down, creating disorientation.
It also happens on mobile, and the effect it’s even worse.
I think it depends from the loading of the big image in the home page (parallax), but I’m not sure. Trying to solve, I uploaded the image with the minimum resolution you specified, but the problem persists.
Thank you very much for the support.
Alessandro.
February 24, 2016 at 11:20 am #251705Hi,
Can you test this with the Parallax Row disabled, so it’s just a standard image? Might be a good idea to create a test page for us to look at away from the live pages.
Thanks.
February 24, 2016 at 7:49 pm #251842Hi David,
Thank you for support.
Unfortunaly, I created a test page with the same image without parallax (just the simple image), but the problem remain identical, and also on mobile.
This is the test page (a home page clone; in which, btw, I can not expand the image in full width, despite I checked all the settings, also in the theme general options, but does not matter now): http://www.giudicesound.com/test-page/
And this is an anchor link in the test page, that replicates the problem (if you go there from another page): http://www.giudicesound.com/test-page/#contattami
So, maybe the problem was not the parallax? What else could it be?
Thank you again.

February 29, 2016 at 11:26 am #252587Hi,
It must be the delayed animations on the icons: http://www.giudicesound.com/#contattami
Can you test with the delay fade in set to 0.
Thanks.
March 1, 2016 at 5:22 pm #253023Hi David,
I tried not only to disable the delay, but also the icon animation, and it did not work.
Then I tried to proceed by elimination, eliminating parts of the page.
And then I tried to disable the header options, one at a time (top bar, change the header layout, remove the logo and retina logo, disable sicky header, etc.)
I also removed all custom css.
None of these options worked. As you can see from this test page, the problem still occurs: http://www.giudicesound.com/test-page#contattami
The only solution is to change the whole site and delete the browsing by tag?
Or maybe you can help me in some other way?
Thank you very much.
Alessandro

I’m fairly sure this was/is on the fixlist.
– Let me double check with the developer.
Thanks.
April 28, 2016 at 11:40 am #264288Hi, any news from the developer?
Unfortunally the problem persist also with the last version of Dante installed.
Thank You.

May 1, 2016 at 11:12 pm #264797@giudicesound – would you be able to provide FTP info as I can’t seem to edit files through the WordPress admin (looks like your host won’t allow it).
Thanks,
