Hi there,

Unfortunately Safari v5.1 is riddled with bugs, such as fixed positioning bugs. I’ve looked into it a great deal with no visible resolution. There may be a way to hack around to fix it, however this would likely be detrimental to the functionality globally – not sure it’s worth it when the browser usage percentage for 5.1 is 0.3% and decreasing..
