    Hello,

    I am trying to change the background color for the “boxed content” but am not having much luck. Would love any help that can be provided to make this change.

    Will reply again with my website link, etc.

    Thanks,
    Andy

    Hi, looks like you’re in the full width layout, not in the boxed layout mode, that’s the reason you cannot change the boxed mode background.

    Cheers!

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion, but I believe there is a misunderstanding. I am referring to the “boxed content” page builder element. Not the boxed layout.

    I am trying to figure out how to change the background of “boxed content” elements I have used via the Page Builder tool.

    I will follow up with a link to a specific page that has this boxed content element.

    Sorry for the mix up!

    Thanks,
    Andy

    Oh, sorry for that, I’m with you now 🙂

    The background color of the type=”coloured” box will always be your accent color, there’s no option to change that individually per box. Cheers!

    Hi Melanie,

    So there is no way to make all of the “boxed content” boxes a different color than the accent color?

    It seems like there would have to be a way to change this. Can an additional class be added to the boxed content element? Would that allow me to change the box color?

    Thanks,
    Andy

    There is no built in way to change the color besides changing the accent color, exactly. You can of course modify either css of the php code of the theme’s files to change it.

    Cheers

    I understand that there is not a built in way to do so in the dashboard theme editor. When I originally posted in this thread there was a response from a support team member, to someone ask about the same issue, saying they could provide that css to add or change. Was hoping that information would still be available.

    Thank you though, Melanie, for your help.

    .wpb_box_text.coloured .box-content-wrap {
    background-color: black!important;
    }

    Cheers
