    I want to create a splash page for my website (see example below) and looked all over through the comments but couldn’t find anyone who may have the same set up and received help. I know that with all of the great features that Dante should definitely have something like this that I can implement on my site. I would greatly appreciate your assistance!

    Example site: http://www.kingofmarco.com/

    Thank you and I look forward to your instructions to create this awesome site.

    Hi,

    Create a new page, then navigate to Page Attributes => Template please then select “Holding Page”.

    On this page add your content.

    Thanks,
    David.

    Thank you! I implemented as you instructed. I just had a few more questions. I am using a rev slider for this splash page, so when I set it up, the page is full but still has ample white space at the bottom. Where do I go to ensure it is full length and there is no navigation bar for anyone to scroll up and down?

    Also, my home page now says home-2 and it wont let me change it to simply home.

    Hi

    1) Add this to your custom css:

    .inner-page-wrap {
        min-height: 0;
    }

    And in the page meta options you need to check the boxes to ‘remove bottom spacing’ and remove top spacing’

    2) You will have another page called home, possibly in the trash, you’ll need to remove it

    Thanks Kyle! The code worked and I did the removals. I went to my trash and drafts and saw no sign of the home page. I should just leave it alone, but that home-2 on the url is irking me lol. Also, since I have the flash page, when someone clicks on the logo at the top, it goes back to the flash page instead of the main home page.

    Have you tried editing the slug of your home page to home?

    For the logo, that will go to whatever page you have set as the front page in Settings > Reading

    For the ‘splash page’ go to Theme Options and set the page as the maintenance page and turn maintenance mode on
