    Hello,

    I would like to create a specific “button” for a website that I have created using the Joyn theme. Technically I believe it would be a column with two buttons inside of it but I can’t figure out how to make a black banner at the top of the column. I have attached how I need it to look. Let me know if anyone knows how to make this!

    I have also attached a photo of where the button needs to be placed on the website home page. \

    You’ve set the background as a parallax background, I would recommend just adding the button in a text box, then set the background via custom css

    What would be the custom css that I would need to use?

    Hi,

    You need to add and extra css class in the text box asset(there is a field for that).
    Imagine that you added the extra class custom-text-bk

    Then to your theme custom css option you should add this code below:

    .custom-text-bk{
    background-color:#CCC;
    }

    Hope it helps.

    I am really confused by how to alter the CSS, is there anyone I can call to help me? This is the last piece of the website I need to alter and I need to get it done ASAP!

    Hi

    For custom css go to Theme Options > Custom CSS
