    Hi, I currently have a slider on my homepage with a single image in it. I am wondering if an image row with text overlay would be more efficient for the website and help with load times?

    I have tried to replace the slider with an image, however can’t get it to display properly. See screen shots for what it should look like and what it does look like.

    1. How can I extend the height of the image so the face shows?
    2. The text is currently set to <h1> but shows up very small. How can I make it as large as the original slider image?
    3. Will using an image improve performance compared to a slider?

    Have you used a Row asset with text asset inside?

    Yes, this is what I have been using. I duplicated an existing image row that has been working on my homepage.

    You can either set the row to window height or you can increase the padding on the row

    Unfortunately it’s not possible to set a fixed height

    Is it more efficient to use an image rather than a slider if I am only going to display one image? If so, I’ll continue playing around with it. If not, I’ll leave it with the existing slider in place.

    Please add the row to your page, add an extra class to the row so we can give you some custom css to set a height on the row

    Unfortunately the Row asset does not have these options, if you’re wanting the text to be bottom or top aligned rather than centre then I would recommend just sticking with the swift slider
