First off, excellent theme. I’ve worked with many over the years and am delighted and duly impressed with the complexity and cleanliness of Dante. Great work!
Secondly, I have about a 31px space between the header and the top of the screen – when you scroll. Also, the search on my site is not the same as in the demo. Please see http://www.livingcuriously.com to see.
Assuming it’s a setting or easy stylesheet fix. Thanks!
January 24, 2014 at 9:54 pm #44571And while I’m having trouble, a few more issues:
1. I want to have a sidebar for blog posts, but not pages. How do I do that?
2. I’ve chosen the “one author” setting, but it’s not removing my name from each post. Why might that be?
Thanks!
January 26, 2014 at 2:37 pm #44746Hi
For the search, you can chose the AJAX search from Theme Options > Header Options (see screenshot)
I do not see the 31px gap that you are talking about? What browser are you using?

1) For each blog post, you can chose your sidebar options (see screenshot)
2) Not sure about this, it should work. I can’t check this because you have no blog posts.

January 26, 2014 at 5:35 pm #44775Browser: Firefox on Mac OSX (not Maverick yet).
Figured out the page setup. Sorry for being an idiot there. But once I did that, I discovered a new problem. Am now setting up About page and modifying templates. But for some reason, not of the full width text box styles are working.
I took it out of maintenance mode, so you should be able to see the blog posts now.
Thank you so much for your help. Still cannot get over this theme!!
January 26, 2014 at 7:44 pm #44781If you want to remove the ‘About Jen’ from the bottom of blog posts, then add this to your custom css:
.author-info-wrap { display: none; }
What do you mean by the full width text boxes are not working?

January 26, 2014 at 7:47 pm #44782They work, but the styles are not showing up when I choose them. For instance, on that About page, “You are now entering the TMI portion of this page. Proceed with caution.” is in the A10 style, but it’s not showing up that way. I feel like there’s some setting I’m missing maybe?
Also, that top 30px margin issue. You should be able to see it now when you scroll. Your demo site doesn’t do it for me, but mine does. Firefox on Mac OSX.
January 26, 2014 at 7:54 pm #44785Hey, I just figured out the background issue! Yay! But there seems to be a line or 1px space between the background and the arrow. Ideas?
Also still having the margin problem.
January 26, 2014 at 8:15 pm #44788This is what I get in Firefox (see screenshots)
Not sure what spacing you are referring to?

January 26, 2014 at 10:35 pm #44816I do not see it in Safari, for the record.
Here’s what it looks like on Firefox. The green highlight at the top. Are you on a Mac, too?
January 26, 2014 at 10:42 pm #44819Oh, for the love. Nevermind. It was some code I’d added to functions.php that I forgot about. So sorry about wasting your time. Thank you for the help!
January 27, 2014 at 1:35 pm #45033No problem!
