    Hi,

I have no clue where this problem is coming from, but it’s very strange.

I have since i opened up my webshop been using 520 x 700px as single product size. Now I would like to smaller this dimensions to something like 520 x 633 or anything smaller, but the regenerating won’t take effect. The most weird thing is that I have been uploading some new product pictures that is 520 x 779, and when I am viewing a product with the new dimensions, it results in 562 x 842 instead. How is this even possible?

And of course, I have been trying to regenerate the pictures that I have recently uploaded, neither will the old photos that fit better want to get smaller.

For better understanding, please view my attached photos.

    Hi @adambrgmn,

The product detail page image/description is fixed percentage split, which you can adjust by following this article – http://support.swiftideas.net/knowledgebase/resize-the-product-image-details-area/

    Hope that helps.

That’s not the correct solution, which I am sure of that you are aware of.

I want the product pictures to fit the description better by making the Single product picture smaller, let’s say 467 x 663, but it won’t work. And another problem is that my newer uploaded images are bigger than the old ones, which you can tell very easily by looking at the two attached photos.

It’s kind of urgent. The webshop is up and running and it doesn’t look good with different photo dimensions..

    Hi @adambrgmn,

The product image size set in WooCommerce settings doesn’t have an effect on the single product display. 562px is the width of the product at the full media query width of the product image area.

The solution I have posted is the correct solution, as it allows you to resize the product image area to be smaller on desktop/tablet screens, which in turn means that the image won’t be scaled upwards.

Hope that clears it up for you.
