    Hi,

    You have all been very kind in offering me some custom CSS so that we can tweak our website but something has gone wrong with full page elements. E.g. Client Logo Slider and Testimonials.

    Basically, if you look at our Logo Slider on the Home Page and Testimonials on our ADVANTAGE page, the boxes they are contained in are not full width – they are larger than the page width but not to the browser edges.

    I can’t figure out which CSS is affecting this – custom or not?

    Plus, our blog posts (Under ‘Get Inspired’) have large images that aren’t central. They seem to have shifted off the page slightly? Could you look at them please?

    I have moved the Custom CSS from Theme Settings> General to the CSS file in our Child Theme as it’s easier to look through and search. (I will post our FTP details in a Private post)

    The Theme and WordPress are all up to date and we have turned off the Responsive side of the website.

    Again, thanks and sorry to keep posting!

    Benjamin

    Hi there,

    Just checked and can’t see the issues you are referring to, can you please provide points for each with screenshots?

    Hi,

    Here are the screenshots to the Client Logo Slider and Testimonials – these should go to the browser edges. I have marked the cut off edges with red – the alt-bg used to touch the browsers edges but now they don’t. (I have also noticed this problem with Page Titles although we don’t use them.)

    Thanks

    That login is not working for me. Looks like you’ve disabled responsiveness? This is why the background’s so not stretch to full width

    Hi,

    Yes we turned off the Responsive side of the theme as we didn’t like the way it rendered some of our content but that was quite some time ago and those elements were added and wide screen for some time after it was turned off (at least 2 weeks ago). We are in constant development mode refreshing the cache so we know this has been working outside of Responsive mode. Can you please make these two areas wide screen please?

    I’ll send you the WP login again in a moment.

    Thanks

    Add this to your custom css:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1024px) {
    .alt-bg {
      margin-left: -570px !important;
      padding-left: 600px;
      padding-right: 600px;
    }
    }

    It’s….very close but not quite! I’m on a 27″ monitor and it’s not quite reaching the edges of the browser. It needs to fit any size browser window ideally. 100% wide to browser edges on any device.

    Is it possible?

    Thank you…

    Great! Where did you put the CSS to fix this? FTP Child Theme or in Theme Settings > General?

    Thank you!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Great thanks, I’ll move it to the Child Theme on FTP.
