    Hello,

    I have had a problem with some elements of my Neighborhood theme after migrating it from the staging subdomain to the production main URL of my project.

    I tried two different approaches:

    1) =>
    First this is what I did:

    – I downloaded all files from test.help-plus.net and uploaded them to help-plus.net
    – I downloaded the database from MySQL and used find/replace to remove “test.” from all references having “http://test.help-plus.net”.
    – I uploaded the modified database.

    All products and pages are working fine, even most of the design elements (colours, layout of footer, design of links) but SOME design or textual elements which were also changed from the original theme are no longer there. Stuff like: the main logo, the sentence at the top-left of the header, the modified sentence from the bottom-footer, the elements displayed on the shopping cart/wishlist area at the right of the main menu…

    It’s like some of the stuff modified from the theme has been lost in the process, but most of the data is there.

    2 =>
    Second, I kept two installations of the page: one in the document root and the other under the test dir in it. I loaded help-plus.net and everything was working except for:
    – Some options make a request to test.help-plus.net (one would be the logo in the header).
    – Some options still reference the test directory.

    If I try to find and replace this options the page breaks (only stuff modified from the theme as I said), as explained in the first approach.

    Is there any specific way I should migrate from a subdomain to the main domain?

    Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
