Social Sharing Icons on Static Pages

How does one add social sharing buttons/icons onto a static page, like my site’s home page? I have the icons that link to my profile pages in the header, but would like to let visitors share my static pages as they do my Portfolio, Product, and Blog Post pages. I’m open to having the social share icons at the base of the page, in a text block, a widget in the footer. Thanks for your advice!

Hey there, you can always use our shortcode in a text widget in the footer. If you want them on a page you could place the shortcode on a page!

Thanks, Melanie. Unless I’m missing something, it seems the short codes allow visitors to connect to my FB, Twitter, etc. I want to enable visitors to share or tweet about my main page – in the same way they can share/email/tweet about my product pages, portfolio pages, posts, etc.

Ah I see – maybe you want to install a plugin for that that has a shortcode you can easily implement?
