    Hi,

    I’m looking for advice on 2 different matters:

    1) How do I modify the social icons in the header bar? Currently they are white on a white header and only show up on rollover or if i apply a alternate topbar colour. How do I change this the same way you have on the support page. (I’m using header 6).

    2) How do I modify or remove the green slashed rollover for blog posts, i’d like something like the grey right arrow but not the colour overlay. Is this possible? I feel ive looked through every colour option and modification but to no avail.

    I’ve attached images for reference.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Matt

    Hi,

    Try to add the code below to your custom css.

    figure.animated-overlay figcaption {
    background-color: transparent!important;
    }

    .fa-twitter:before , .fa-pinterest:before, .fa-facebook:before{
    color: #222!important;
    }

    Legend, that’s exactly what I was looking for.

    Out of interest is there some way I can do those amendments in the native editor without having to add to the Custom CSS? I was hoping not to clog this up over time.

    Thank you.
    Matt

    Yes you can place your changes in a file if you use a child theme. But if you only have some css changes this option it’s good for it. The theme updates won’t affect that custom css option.
