Small white space between portfolio items in "Multi Size Masonry"

Yes – it was due to the 1px being left over, and I think it only occurred on the wide+tall image. Have implemented a fix for this, will be in the next update 🙂

The 1px also occurs with wide-only images. And it’s more than 1px on a bigger Display (2560×1440 in Safari Fullscreen-Mode).

Could you tell me when the next update is about to be released?

The Whitespace is now even bigger than before on a standard Display. I’ll test it on a big screen tomorrow.

Hi Simon,

That’s odd – doesn’t look like it’s the latest. Think the functions.min.js file may not have been updated, can you try with performance option disabled to see if the wide+tall image is correctly sized now?

Hi Ed,

disabling the minify setting did indeed resolve the 1px issue on the Wide+Tall images. However the 1px is still visible on wide images.

Ok thanks for posting that. What I’ve done now is make the images 2px wider and taller within the area, to compensate for any instance where a 1px gap may occur. This SHOULD sort it finally.

I’ve just seen your other known issues post, so will look at those before I provide another build for you – if that’s ok?

Hi Ed,

the problem with the whitespace is not gone. There is a new whitespace below the wide images.

These are the whitespaces:

• On the left side of wide+tall
• On the left side of wide
• Below the wide images

Also now the wide image seems to be ~1px to high.

Ugh. Of course. My bad – forgot that the isotope script would pick up the larger image sizes. Got one last idea, but i’m hopeful.

the white space below the image is gone again. But it stayed on the side of wide+tall and wide images.
