Slow website

After installing the Neighborhood theme and some demo content (with problems, only managed after a few attempts) I instantly noticed that the website’s loading speed is slow. Not only the site itself but also the wordpress admin panel

What is the problem here? The demo theme is loading a lot quicker. The link to my site is: http://tinyurl.com/n9h6oab

I see that the homepage is loading a lot of inpage css styles i.s.o. in a style-sheet file. This is unnecessary right?

The only problem on your site is the file admin-ajax.php

I recommend deactivating all your plugins to see if that helps. In general, make sure every plugin is on its latest version.

Hey Melanie, thanks for your help! I’ve disabled all plugins and reactivated them to see which one is causing the problem, but can not find any difference. The site is working a bit faster than before, after reactivating the plugins. What is the problem with the file admin-ajax.php?
