Slow Site

My site is loading extremely slowly. Other other sites on the same hosting are loading fine. Are there any ways to speed up the theme?

That site is using a very basic WordPress Theme, which is easy on the hosting. When you’re using a theme as complex as ours you need more than a shared plan, they don’t have the muscle to load feature rick themes quickly.

We haven’t had anybody else with the issue, I ran the theme on HostGators shared hosting and it did pretty well, loaded the site in about 8 seconds. It’s just the specific company you are with, you should ask them to improve it a little

Remove any plugins you don’t use, install Better WordPress Minify, use Cloudflare for CDN.

Hi !

I’m experiencing the same problem on my website. I’ve tried increasing the wp limit but no luck there. It’s so bad now i almost can’t reach the wp-admin and loading a page takes up to a minute or more, or gives a weird error.

6 seconds isn’t so bad: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bMUGHt/http://www.nip10.nl that’s pretty standard for your average hosting, you’d only get quicker than that if you were on WP engine for e.g.

1. My site, displays.adventium.net, is taking forever to load (almost 1 minute!) I tried making the thumbnails on the index page smaller via media > library > edit image > scale image > Apply changes to: thumbnail

However, it resized the image on all pages so the image quality on the product page is quite poor. Do I need to make 2 sets of images (one for thumbnail and one for product) so that the page will load faster?

Please provide suggestions on how to make the page load faster

Hi,

Try to use a cache plugin like WP Super cache.
Also try to increase the WordPress memory inside the wp-config.php

This can be also relate to your hosting speed.
